Instructions and Help about add page numbers to pdf without acrobat
Well hey everyone its Andrew bro and in this tutorial we're gonna be taking a look at how to add facing page numbers in Adobe Acrobat Pro so gonna be working inside of a Windows 10 for this tutorial and as you can tell I was not able to be at my desk so I took some screenshots and we're gonna go ahead and try to do this through keynote so the first thing we need to do obviously is go down to the Start menu and go ahead and open Adobe Acrobat Pro and then open up the file that you want to edit we're just going to be editing this one today now there's a couple of things I like to do right away when I'm setting up my file the first thing is is I like to click this button right here so we can view the whole entire page and then I also like to open up the page navigation view so you'll see that right here so we can now see all the page thumbnails it just makes it a whole lot easier to click on individual pages that we need to as we are editing our document also something that's new here in Acrobat Pro DC as you can tell I have upgraded so this is the brand new version of Adobe Acrobat and they've made some changes to how the menus are laid out so we're actually gonna be going in into this edit PDF view so this was a little bit different than the older versions of Acrobat where you may have some drop-down menus right up in here and this used to be under pay I think just was called pages and then you would have all of your different editing settings now you can see when you click on whoops I think I'm going to skip the page here when you click on that edit view you now get a new kind of a new look here and what we're gonna be looking at doing is a header and footer so click on that and then say add and we're actually going to do and add a new one because we don't want to replace anything that's already inside of the headers throughout the document and if you say replace existing you could have things disappear from your document that are already there all right so we're going to do a couple of things here first we're gonna make sure that our cursor is in the side of this box right here where it says right header text because we are starting out on we're actually going to start out on page number three you can see that right over here because page 1 is our front cover and page 2 is the inside front cover so we actually want the page numbering to start out on page 3 so with the cursor in the write header text box
