How To Add Page Numbers to PDF Online?
Easy-to-use PDF software
If I add page numbers manually to my book will Amazon Direct publishing print it? Word is not cooperating with adding numbers.
With 75+ books under my belt as author, ghostwriter, editor, and self-publisher for others, an author who self-publishes without a way to promote the book will make very little. The authors I have worked with have sold as few as a couple hundred copies (including a book that was made available in 600 Barnes &Noble stores) and I recently published a highly topical nonfiction title that sold about 2,400 copies with a massive (easily a million dollars) campaign and an active public speaker. To answer more specifically, I could give an educated guess of maybe a few hundred bucks a year. But average tells you nothing because there have been self-published books that have been phenomenal successes. A few years back an author who had a publisher for his previous books couldn't sell his vampire novel so he offered it an as ebook exclusively on Amazon at 99 cents and sold some 800,000 copies. No one was more shocked than he. My advice is not to worry about how much you might earn from your writing. Remember that some of history's greatest authors (Virginia Woolf, Tom Clancy among hundreds) started out as nobody self-publishers. Write because you have to, you have something to say and keep trying to find your audience.
Add Page Numbers to PDF: All You Need to Know
A book publisher isn't going to help you. The only way to succeed as an e-book author is to make a best-seller list. Then you can start networking and find an exclusive distributor. The money is in that right now. So, while we're not necessarily ready to self-publish yet, keep plugging away with your writing and self-publishing will become easier in time.
